Stage 03

A product with no users
is a very expensive prototype.

Most development shops hand you a login screen and wish you luck. Launch is the stage where the product meets real people, the pricing gets tested and the analytics start telling you something you can act on.

Section 01 · Launch scope

Four workstreams
before you open the doors.

Run in parallel with the last engineering sprints so that go-live day is an event rather than a slow leak of traffic to an unfinished funnel.

Workstream 01

Marketing site & pricing page

The page that has to explain in ten seconds what the product does and why it is worth paying for. Built to convert, not to win design awards.

  • Positioning and message hierarchy
  • Landing page, features, pricing and FAQ
  • SEO foundation, schema and sitemap
  • Conversion tracking wired before launch, not after
Workstream 02

Onboarding & activation

The gap between sign-up and first value is where most SaaS products lose the user permanently. This workstream is about closing it.

  • Sign-up flow with the minimum friction that still qualifies
  • Empty-state design and guided first actions
  • Welcome, activation and win-back email sequences
  • A defined activation event, measured from day one
Workstream 03

Pricing, packaging & billing

The commercial model built into the product properly, rather than bolted on when the first customer asks for an invoice.

  • Plan structure, limits and upgrade triggers
  • Trial mechanics and conversion path
  • Gateway configuration, GST and invoicing
  • Failed-payment and cancellation handling
Workstream 04

Analytics & instrumentation

Deciding what you need to know before you have the data, so month two is a decision rather than a guess.

  • Event taxonomy agreed and implemented
  • Funnel, retention and cohort reporting
  • Product analytics plus marketing attribution
  • A weekly metrics view your team can actually read
Section 02 · First 90 days

What happens after
the launch email.

Optional, and the part most worth buying if this is your first product. Akontec's digital marketing team runs acquisition; the build team stays close enough to change the product when the data says to.

Month 1

Instrument and observe

Get real usage data, watch where people stop, fix the obvious friction, and resist drawing conclusions from twelve users.

Month 2

Test acquisition

Small paid tests, search foundation, outbound or partnerships depending on the product. Measure cost per activated user, not per signup.

Month 3

Decide the next build

Phase two priorities drawn from behaviour and support tickets rather than the original roadmap, and priced from the spec.

An honest note about launch

We can build the product well, put it in front of the right people and measure what happens. We cannot make a market want something it does not want. If the first ninety days say the idea is not working, we will tell you that plainly and help you decide whether to change the product, change the audience, or stop — which is a cheaper answer than another build phase.

Next step

Bring us the idea. We’ll bring back a scope you can hold us to.

A scoping call costs nothing and takes forty-five minutes. If the product does not need building yet, or needs building by someone else, we would rather say so in that call than three months into a contract.
