Akontec SaaS Build is a service line of Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd, a firm that builds, staffs and governs delivery operations for clients in India and abroad. We came to software from running operations, which is why our products have admin consoles that work.
Why fixed
scope.
Time-and-materials is the industry default because it moves every risk onto the client. The supplier cannot lose: a longer build is simply a larger invoice. That is not a conspiracy, it is just what the incentive does when nobody writes the scope down.
Fixed scope moves the estimation risk back to us, which is only fair, because we are the ones who claim to know how long software takes. It also forces a genuine specification, which is the artefact that makes everything downstream cheaper — testing, handover, hiring, and the phase-two conversation.
It costs us more discipline up front. It costs you less money overall.
Six habits we
actually enforce.
Each appears as a clause, a gate or a section in every engagement we sign.
Nothing invented
If we do not know a number or a timeline, it stays open until it is scoped. Proposals go out with open items marked as open items.
Specification before price
No fixed quote without a validation sprint. A number given before the spec exists is a guess dressed as a commitment.
You own everything
Repository, cloud, domains, designs and IP in your name from day one, by contract rather than by promise.
Changes priced first
Written change request with cost and timeline impact before any work. Nothing absorbed quietly, nothing invoiced as a surprise.
Bad news early
Slippage is disclosed in the week it happens, in the build note. Not at the demo, and not in the post-mortem.
What we will not promise
Every proposal carries a section with that exact title. Clients tell us it is the section they read first.

working globally.
Engagements run in English, with Hindi and Tamil available for user research and support content. Workshops, demos and reviews happen over video, so location is rarely a constraint.
